Did I read this on the MSNBC ticker correctly? I thought Domenici & Simpson were talking about extending the payroll holiday, not hiking it

Obama was quite enthused about when he ran for the Illinois Senate back in 2004. Its proponents have showed what a huge fiscal remedy it could be.
Also, it might make it clear there is a value to supporting companies for the long term gain, and not just for the short term.
