Rx Discount Card Info, everyone qualifies-saved me a bunch!
Posted this in the RX patents expiring soon thread, and thought it might be helpful to start a separate thread. The pharmacist told me about it and was able to apply it right away. No forms to fill out to qualify, or anything, just can go to the site and download a card, even run a check on participating pharmacies in your area and specific prices.

Saved me $185 for a month supply (12)of my migraine meds (generic Imitrex-the original Imitrex is still even mire insanely priced and the discount less). So I got 12 100 mg tablets for $38!on.

anyway, here is the link, hope it helps someone!

FREE PRESCRIPTION DRUG CARD

UNA RX CARD is a “FREE” discount prescription drug card delivered through a joint effort by RESTAT and United Networks of America. This program is made possible through the participation of U.S. pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies. UNA Rx Card provides members with average savings of 32%-35% off U&C Pricing with savings as high as 75% on some medications.

UNA Rx Card is designed as a stand alone benefit program but it may also be used as a supplement for insured prescription plans to cover non-formulary prescriptions. It can also be used as a Medicare Part D supplement by covering drugs once participants reach the “donut hole”!

The UNA Rx Card network includes most major pharmacy chains nationwide.

1. My Blue Cross Medicare Supplement provides a similar
discount at Walgreens, at least on the generic drugs I take. I also take generic sumatriptan (Imitrex), and my price is the same as what you quoted. I don't have Medicare Part D coverage, but I get this discount for some reason.

7. I've found that some pharmacies will match price of competing plans
Plenty of e-discounts available, in case you know of friends lacking insurance...

2. One Wallgreens took it, pharmicist at another one refused, said it was a gov program

that had already run out of $$$. However, another WG across town ran it right through, no problem.
$60 script ended up costing just $10 with the card.

on edit:

9. My QFC said it didn't work anymore, but I emailed the addy on the site
site a few weeks ago and got a personal reply from a very nice sounding man, he said that the program is definitely still available and had even done a search for nearby QFC pharmacies near me.

Then I found out that my meds are even cheaper through the Washington state rx discount card, so am not sure if my same pharmacy would have been able to use the other card still, or if it varied from QFC to QFC, like your Walgreen's was different. Weird. Maybe things are just really messy right now with all the budget cutting, who knows.

10. The first Pharmacist flat out lied
When I questioned her, she said she got her information from a local county
office that the funding had been cut. I knew it was BS right away, but didn't have either time,
nor patience to press the issue. I just took it across town to the WG near work.
They punched in the numbers right away and it went straight through, cool breeze.

3. I use this copy of the coupon from my IPhone pics
I just pull up the pic of the coupon hand it to the Pharmacist,
who then keys in EDRUGCOUPON, 610709, and 7777 to activate the discount.

4. Can You Use This If You Have Health Insurance That Covers Meds?
We have a Humana PPO through my husband's work and it includes pharmaceutical coverage, but If I can get something that's even cheaper... well it makes sense!

6. You'll just have to try one of them, and compare....
The one from the OP once brought down the cost of a script to exactly what it costs
now that I have employer provided coverage (from $60 to $10).

BTW, a simple google search has turned up more of these RX e-coupons.
See my other post...
