At the start of July Canada slashed the number of visas available for migrant workers.

The number of Federal Skilled Worker Visas available has been cut by 50 per cent, leaving just 10,000 visas on offer each year. Last year Canada received 13,800 Federal Skilled Worker applications, so the full quota of visas is expected to fill very quickly.

If you are interested in working in Canada then it is important that you start your application today. If you miss out, you will be forced to wait at least 12 months until your next opportunity."
