Why on the weekends does MSNBC leave us with the choice of CNN or Fox which both suck hard?
Edited on Sun Jan-09-11 08:56 PM by NNN0LHI
And don't get me wrong, MSNBC sucks pretty hard at times too. Just as hard as the other two on occasion. But isn't MSNBC capable of broadcasting news 24/7 on a regular basis? Is there no money in it? I bet if there was a new war just cranking up somewhere they would go to 24/7 live coverage of that wouldn't they? Do people really like watching inmates locked up in jail on MSNBC? Any ideas why MSNBC gets lazy on the weekends?

6. Cheaper than reruns of shows they've already shown earlier in the day?
I find it hard to believe that people would rather watch those repulsive shows than reruns of MSNBC's own news programs.

2. Read a book
Remember when there weren't 24 hours of "news"?

9. Try this

We're all connected, but our perspective is limited. The universe is a lot bigger than this weekend.

Hope it helps.

3. Before we had CNN and 24/7 TV news we had
news radio, stations that did news 24/7 and much more cheaply than TV. Then the monopolization of radio came with those stations being bought out by Clear Channel that replaced those news channels with more profitable music, sports and talk radio like Rush Limbaugh. Goodby radio news, but we didn't care because we had CNN, which back then did real news. Now I wish for a 24 hour radio news station again.

5. After wondering the same thing - I googled to look at the ratings
Hard as it is to believe, MSNBC does better with that awful programming compared to Fox and CNN than it does in the weekday evenings.

8. Can you stream live video or audio on your comp?
There are loads of tv and radio stations around the world- you can get an interesting perspective and it's not the usual boring US weekend stuff.

Start with the BBC.
