Man survives days trapped in snake-infested manhole
LEAGUE CITY, Texas — A 25-year-old man missing since Saturday was found alive today at the bottom of a 30-foot-deep manhole in woods near a local highway.

Rescuers pulled Kevin Gonterman from the hole about 1 p.m. after volunteers with Texas Equusearch discovered him in the hole this morning, said Equusearch's Frank Black.

The hole, about 150 yards from the highway is about 4 or 5 feet in diameter and is labeled "sewer."

Gonterman had been bitten by snakes, but was conscious and speaking lucidly during his rescue, Black said. He has been taken to an area hospital.

2. i would have died just seeing them, plural. I can't do snakes.
of course, I met a rattler face to face coiled up a few inches away. She let me live though.
