He's a crook anyway, he sells cars! Well, he did, but I think his dealerships are still making him some money. Probably hidden though!

Ruby Red County and it really, really SUCKS!

7. No, but if I did, I would take the time to explain to them that default is not an option.
I heard Boehner utter default half-a-dozen time earlier. Likewise, Obama has warned of the "dangers of defaulting..."

However, none of what they are saying is true. We can not default and we will not default.

I'm beginning to wonder if the coffers are a bit low for both parties and they have decided to use this "crisis" as a means of raising money.

8. Yes.
These relations of mine (and their friends) would jump up and down with glee to see this country utterly destroyed by any means - even if it means they themselves lose out - as long as they can blame Democrats in general and President Obama in particular. Their hatred really is that strong.

That's really sad. Some of my husband's family wants it too but they are racists to begin with.

26. Yeah, my folks are racist, too.
They have been for a long time - not always, oddly enough they weren't raised that way, they learned it as adults. Still, this vicious, awful, unrelenting, all-consuming hatred took me by surprise. They've been utterly ruined by Faux News and RW radio and don't think for themselves at all anymore, just believe and parrot what they hear no matter how ridiculous. It's near impossible to talk to them about anything because they'll drag that bullshit into every conversation. It's depressing.

15. A crazy-assed site I visit
Well, I actually visit its main site because it's work related, but this board linked below is just their political page. There, they want a default, they blame Dems for this, they don't believe repubs want to do any harm to SS, etc. It's freaking maddening & they outnumber us, so they like to shout you down...

Here's the link if anyone feels like tearing some republican ass -- it's anonymous & you don't even have to register, plus I would absolutely love to watch it, LOL :)

16. Yes.
But the coworker admits to being a member of a hate group (recognized by Southern Poverty Law Center) and he's stated that he hopes the entire thing collapses, leaving people like the members of his group the heaviest armed so that "the South can rise again."

Did I also mention that he refuses to take his medication?

19. I honestly don't know anyone who is that stupid
or if they are, they hide it from me.

I do know quite a few people who don't realize what default will mean to them. They think it'll be like the Gingrich shutdown 15 years ago and won't affect them. I set them straight.

for everything. They want to see the president fail.
