According to Ed: Boehner called Rush Limbaugh before making speech tonight |
|
and then Boehner went (according to one of Ed's guests) "full tea party crazy" in his speech, all prior hints of rationality now vanished. Why in the world does the Speaker of the House call a radio personality before delivering a speech that may impact the lives of millions of Americans, especially the working class?

2. To Get His Marching Orders, Of Course |
|
The more interesting question is who gives Limpballs HIS marching orders? My money is on the Koch brothers for that.

3. amen. I have a feeling Boehner is hating all of this and would rather be sipping a vodka tonic |
|
somewhere and discussing golf, etc.

that might make him look effective to anyone in anyway.

6. Because the speaker is a sniveling, drunken baffoon who needs permission |
|
from Rush to cop a squat. He's neither capable nor interested in developing or defending a position for himself. Takes away from his drinking time.

7. I wish that could be verified... |
|
All but the fringe of the Republican party would be horrified to know that, I do believe.
Maybe someone here can call Limbaugh tomorrow and ask him.

11. Earlier this morning there were posts on DU |
|
stating that the weeping boner called rush before he even showed his people the plan
rush was talking about the plan on his show this morning
boner should be asked if he called every entertainer about the plan

9. They owe Limbaugh their allegiance. |
|
He didn't create the no-tax, no-government unfettered capitalistic philosophy being touted today, but he did combine it with racism and fundamentalism to create the Republican Party that we know now. Limbaugh has suckled them with his hairy, saggy man tits and they have learned everything they know at his cloven feet. He is their Jesus and their Virgin Mary and Ronald Reagan merely foreshadowed the wonder of the Oxycontin Orator.

along with a few hundred ugly instances
but no one ever asks the GOP why they stand with such rhetoric
Meanwhile, every Democrat was grilled on Jeremiah Wright's 8 year old speech
