A question on Eric Cantor--why
should he be involved in the debt/budget talks since he has a vested interest in the outcome, outside of his being a member of congress? Why didn't he recuse himself, or why don't Dems insist that he be excluded?

I have a problem with him being rather intimately involved in the decisions before Congress knowing he doesn't really give a shit about the outcome. He wins either way.

3. I figure someone should
have asked that a long time ago, or at least provided an answer. I'm not here all the time, and thought I might have missed it.

7. That wouldn't be nice to do
We can't start acting mean to these people, we have to be Bipartisan with them. Besides, both sides do it. :sarcasm:

8. It's win/win for him actually. If we default, he personally profits.

If Boener makes a deal that the baggers don't like, he becomes Speaker (he believes). :puke:

10. The Majority Leader's job is only to round up the votes, not to negotiate
like the Speaker. He's out of bounds.

Are they as dumb as or dumber than a box of rocks?
