1. Right wing is always after juveniles -- they're tomorrow's revolutionaries, I guess....
Any way they can harm or criminalize them they will try to do!!

Has always been thus!!

2. Yep, so true.
Hell, they probably started back in the '50s, my man. Why else were there so many teen rebellion films in those days? ;-)

4. True -- think you are quite correct --
and I well remember two neighborhood boys who quite seriously had

their lives altered by an encounter with police --

They were only 14 or 15 at the time -- and the encounter did turn into

a situation where the police officer was pushing them around and one of

them pushed back and they were trying to get away.

Families got lawyers but by the time they were a few years older they

were forced to serve time -- this was in the 1950's --

They might have been close to 17-18 by then -- one was getting married --

girlfriend was pregnant. Think it was something short of one year that

one of them served -- but can't recall exactly. And don't know the

disposition of the other boy -- whether he was on parole or whether he

served a few months or longer.

These were not violent boys -- this happened at a resort area before the

season started. They weren't drinking -- no drugs. Nothing like that.

Good family environment in both cases.

5. Notice how NOTHING in that bill suggests that the juvenile's parents/guardian are MANDATED into
the process, or have ANY responsibilities for resolution of ANY of the issues at all.

No advocate (and I don't mean just legal) for the "kid" is Very messed up!!!

7. The Koch Brothers and Company need to control the masses.
What better way than to put children into boot camps where they will have any ounce of individuality and creativity removed from them.
Boot camps do NOT instill "leadership" into anyone, they instill compliance with intimidation.
