CBS Radio News, applauds Obama.
At 10pm central time, I listened to the CBS radio network news. After clips from Obama and Boehner, the "political analyist" said Obama has been very fair and reasonable about his actions in this crisis. John Boehner he said, has had a "my way or the highway atitude" during negotiations. That is what a right wing network news broadcast said nationally last night.
.. I wanted to let you know that some of the right wing media does not want a default. That is the first time, I have heard that strong support for Obama on that network.

1. Good to hear. But is CBS Radio News 'right wing media?'

2. Yes,
For the last 5 years it has consistently had on people who end reports on democratic figures and issues with criticism. Generlly an analyist or clip from some tape that in effect valadates right wing position. Instead of just reporting news, the network, as do many others, gives a slant that a view or idea is more "correct" than another. Last nite the slant went to Obama. It was clear and very obvious.
In the 60s and70s, when I listened at length, there was no slant. It was just the news.

5. I've always considered CBS to be furthest to the left of any of the networks
But, I rarely watch any of the network news programs. Thinking back to the 2008 election, they seemed to be the most vocal of the major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox (not foxnews)) in their support of Obama.

3. Wouldn't it be nice if we lived in a world were we could watch the news and not see or hear any

political analysts?

I really don't need to be told what to think.

Edit for missing words.

This Headline is now at MSNBC. top of the page, first look

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/

It's Mr. My-Way
-or-the-Highway v.
Mr. Compromise

NBC News First Read: In dueling primetime speeches on the debt-limit talks, President Obama speaks to the middle while Speaker Boehner plays to his GOP choir.

And yes, that website..often slants to the right, just cause it has a few liberal shows, it is still owned by Comcast.
