Try this argument for those that insist that violent rhetoric does not lead to violence.
Just say, so in your opinion it would be OK for the right to continue to spout all of the violent rhetoric that they've been doing the first two Obama years all thruout the next two Obama years? How many more shootings need to occur during the next two years before you would start wondering whether there is a link? How many more people need to die for you?

3. have you not bothered to read the study I linked for you?
that indicates political rhetoric incites political violence in unstable individuals?

facts do matter to some but in this case you seem to choose to ignore them and pretend they haven't been pointed out to you.

5. It's not ok but it might also not be the cause of the shooting.
The question is are we directly attributing Sarah Palin for this shooting? Or are we generically criticizing her recognizing she may be irrelevant to this case?

6. Nutcases listen to the violent rhetoric, too. The more violent the
rhetoric, the more nutcases will be provoked to action.
