I expected to get some push back when I told them my wife and I would both hold the Republicans responsible, and that many dedicated Republicans, mostly over 60, were talking about voting against the GOP because of this. I told them to settle this debt ceiling issue. No cuts to SS, Medicare, Medicade. I said the same about Norquist: he doesn't live, vote or pay taxes in Texas. As far as raising revenue, I stated that it they can afford to bribe their way out of taxes, then they can afford to pay more. I can't. I also told them that people in Texas or hurting, probably not in the social circles conservanazis run it. F*ck 'em if they don't like what I have to say. BTW, with an email, those have to go on file. I'll keep theirs for future reference.
