John Boehner is Full of It

I will acknowledge that I did not watch John Boehner's full speech last night. I watched clips of the speech during a morning new story. These clips showed John Boehner is full of BS.

The first clip showed John Boehner saying President Obama wanted a "blank check". I do not call being willing to give $1.65 trillion in cuts, including $650 billion in cuts to entitlement spending, asking for a blank check. President Obama was also willing to structure the deal in a way that would have allowed House Republicans to keep their no tax increases pledge. Allowing the opposition party to keep a promise, even if some would say the pledge was stupid, is not asking for a blank check.

Another clip showed John Boehner claiming the debt ceiling debate was a crisis caused by President Obama. This crisis was not caused by President Obama. President Obama would have been willing to sign a bill months ago. President Obama has been willing to give the Republicans almost everything they wanted. The only thing President Obama has asked for is the closure of loopholes in order to increase revenue.

What John Boehner said was just ridiculous. The Democrats and President Obama have not been the problem in this debt limit debate. The Republicans have been the problem.

Funny thing was Obama dared him to prove himself to be a reasonable guy. He failed big time.

and you have no idea who this guy is. That he followed the Pres. and looked so insane made the case for the Democrates better than anything the Pres. said.
