Fukushima Residents to Officials: Test This Urine!
Fukushima Residents to Officials: Test This Urine!

Incredible video of a meeting in Fukushima last week where desperate residents ask if they have the right to live in a safe, non-radioactive place and stone-faced officials sit in silence - and then literally run away as people plead with them to test their children's urine. Shrieks one woman, "They are awful!"

Those officials just picked up their stuff and walked out on those justifiably angry Fukushima residents, not giving them any straight answers to their anxious questions, including almost begging them regarding testing for their and their childrens' urine for exposure to radiation.

Welcome to the 21st century, where the great unwashed who are supposedly living in what passes for the more "compassionate" free world are ignored, being treated like human garbage by our elected representatives and some are being/have been kicked to the curb. (Katrina/BP)

:wow: :scared:  :grr: :wtf:

3. What were the officials there for?

They offered no help or information. Sad.

I could easily see that type of stonewalling happening here, but the security guards would already have grabbed the complainers.

4. Don't know what we can conclude from this except that "evacutation" is a NO. NO ...

and that the officials looked scared out of their minds --

Probably because it would be acknowledging that things are very serious there --

and it would make the nuclear industry look worse than it already looks --

if that's at all possible --

And increase the liability of government and the nuke company -- forgotten the name

of it, actually -- in other words, it's about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

These nukes were built to withstand only 7.0 earthquakes while the Japanese scientists

and the government knew that seismic activity was increasing in earthquake-prone Japan!!

Btw, it takes a year to properly shut down these Fuku nuclear reactors!!
