Okay, time for a few Democratic oaths?
Edited on Tue Jul-26-11 06:44 PM by Cyrano
The Thugs are hot on taking various oaths to their totally insane values.

How about we Democrats took a few oaths:

How about we took an oath to not vote for Obama if he betrays us on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid?

How about we took an oath not to vote for him if he betrays unions?

How about we took an oath not to vote for him until he stands up to the Thugs and actually defends and protects the historic, humane principles of the Democratic Party?

I know that most of us are not much on the "oath" bullshit. But what if ...?

Isn't it time we asked our "leader" to lead?

2. What if we do what we want and you take the oath?
Just because the republicans are doing something, you want us to? Look how it's working for the republicans! Nah, I'll just keep on doin what I'm doin. The republicans don't like it, so it must be right.

11. Since "How about we took an oath" is written 3 times, seems like it is.
Maybe you need to clarify rather than cussing us out? Maybe what you are meaning isn't clear.

14. Good Point, uppityperson, but that is not the intent.
Thanks for cluing me in, but it's too late to change it.

My point is that we don't need no stinkin' oaths. What we need is leadership.

Evidently I was not clear enough about that.

19. One could more validly say that about Obama, he is the one doing the damage.
Not those that want him to be a Democrat like he said he would be, perhaps you should try to have him banned rather than someone that tells the truth?

12. The only oaths I'll take are torn from the lips of dying pirates and brigands...
Besides, oaths rely on loyalty, which isn't a Democratic feature. How about a binding legal contract as to what it means to be a member of the Democratic party?
