I'm not sure of organizational logistics, but a call to arms seems appropriate in the form of loud voices in the streets.

1. Maybe folks that are close to DC........
That's probably what it will take though. Something not only big, but spontaneous. And NOT polite.

4. Yep, exactly! Letters and phone calls help, but we have a lot of outright
asses in DC today, and many others in political offices with too much power, too much greed, and not much accountability. It's probably going to take a mass demonstration in DC to get their attention. Hopefully more people will pay attention to their vote next time around.

2. Logistically, it would be difficult to get a lot of people there. Easier would be petitioning
at your rep's and Senator's local offices. There was a gathering today at Pelosi's office in San Francisco.

....it's either Union Station, or Capitol South.

The rest is just logistics.

5. A national Education rally will be thre from Thur-Sun, with a march Sat, I believe.
There are also local rallies at state capitals for Public Education.

I'm sure the teachers wouldn't mind a few other issues along for the ride.

See my sig.
