Poll: More trust Obama over Republicans in Congress on debt, deficit issues

Nearly half of those polled trust President Obama more than congressional Republicans to solve the deficit and debt-limit issue, according to a poll released early Tuesday.

As the debt-limit issue continues to roil Congress, 34 percent of those asked said they "strongly" trust Obama (14 percent say "somewhat") while 28 percent say the same about Republicans, with 11 percent saying "somewhat" for the GOP, according to a new Washington Post/ABC News poll.

7. Oh really.... Gee I am so not surprised
considering how many people tend to only want to believe the worst about the president rather then use their brains and be thankful that we are blessed to have this man as our president. Honestly... can you just imagine how truly screwed we would be if McCain and Palin were the president and vice president?
Okay... now that IS A REALLY FUCKING SCARY THOUGHT THAT WILL KEEP EVERYONE AWAKE AT NIGHT! We chose the right guy for the job but you have to truly have faith to see that we made the right choice...

8. So horse shit is better than cat shit...
Every relatively objective demonstration of Obama's right-wing values seems to be followed by a poll indicating that the public thinks he's on the sensible side of his opposition (which currently, due to bipartisan shenanigans of the last couple decades, are to the right of Sawney Bean's family).

And the best, and only reasonable, answer is "so what?" A lot of us would trust the Klingons over the Republicans currently in Congress. Historically, there's plenty of evidence that Satan Himself gives better deals than the current batch of Republicans, and does a much better job honoring the letter, if not the spirit, of His agreements.

9. "Obama's right-wing values"? List them (provide quotes & sourced examples).
