3. Right. Thanks
and of course they're sounding reasonable! I think the WalMart guy said 'everything should be on the line,' that is, all loopholes should be considered.

4. Thanks -- there was something on C-Span 3 with some
guy from Standard and Poors, wasn't sure which one you were referring to (since it's all pretty much over my head anyway). I'm there, now. :hi:

and I'm happy to see reasonable people discussing civilly, also successful businessmen being decent and receptive.

Now Hatch is going to tell these guys how to be competitive???

The business guys told Hatch: 'Do the right thing for the country and let the accountants figure it out!!!' LOVE THEM!!! This is WalMart, CVS, Kimberly-Clark!!!

6. Yeah - it is pretty basic and it does seem to be very adult
and reasonable in tone.

I almost dove for the remote when Hatch said "I'm very supportive of the tax breaks for corporations" - or something like that. The blood was pounding in my brain so I didn't hear exactly what he said.

Wyden is up now -- one of the good guys. :hi:

2. Glad to see "Closing the Loopholes" are not off the table
appears a lot of phone calls / emails has produced some spine in the DEMs.

Must be that Pesky "Majority of Americans" thing again
