And please people, don't tell me that you know a church which is not that way, and some people who don't believe that way. I don't doubt it but they are the exception, rather than the rule.

...there is no true mass Christianity in the US? I think I could agree with that (not that I don't agree with your general point; I do).
Of course, by the reading of the Bible, it should come as no surprise that the vast majority of those who claim the name Christian...aren't. It seemed to predict that pretty well, human nature being what it is and all.
