If we take that number and multiply it by 80 Teabaggers in Congress - we should get a pretty good idea of just how many Americans they represent. We then need to take that number and get a percentage of how many Americans the TeaBaggers represent against our total population. I'm thinking that the percentage is really pretty low.

since populations have shifted, shrunk &/or grown it probably varies a bit more now.
I think in 2000 it was @ 675,000 or so.

740,000 people in an average congressional district X 80 teabaggers in the House = 59,200,000 total people represented by Teabaggers
Current population of the USA = 311,859,102
59,200,000/311,859,102 or to make it easier 59.2/312 = .189 X 100 = 18.0%
If we figure on an average that 51% of the people in the district voted for the Teabagger it looks like the Teabaggers as a whole group represent about 9.6% of the people in this country.
And they are holding up this debt ceiling raising saying that is what the American people want. Hmmmmm.....
I think my math is right. Somebody please check my numbers and my logic.
