When Obama was elected to the Presidency, the word came down from the Republican Powers That Be -- Above all else, hold him to one term. Since that time the party leadership has not failed to repeat that order as often as they deem fit. And the party faithful obey.

Every sentence they utter has that order behind it. Every action taken or contemplated is compelled by it. Every possible ugliness, no matter how not-credible, is levelled at Obama. Every catastrophic repercussion of flawed agendas, regardless of source, is deflected onto Obama.

The Republicans are so committed to this singular intent that every valid concern has taken a distant back seat. They trifle with inanities instead of doing the work they swore to do. The only Americans they serve are in the top 2% in terms of wealth, they do not give a damn about the rest of us. About you and me THEY DO NOT GIVE A DAMN. Nor do they give a damn about the Constitution, they have proven that.

They want power. All of it. They will do anything to keep Obama from being re-elected. Anything. They would be unhappy with any Democrat being in the White House. But this particular President is Barack Hussein Obama, and that is so disquieting to their souls that they are willing to risk the nation to re-secure the former exclusive access to the reins of power to those who do not look like him. They. Will. Do. Anything.
