The "Lone Wolf" Right Wing Ideology Strikes Again
Edited on Mon Jan-10-11 12:44 AM by KingOfLostSouls
I'm seeing many debating on the forums and stuff and here's some simple things that should be pointed out.

this guy was, above all else, a "lone wolf" type. the Department Of Homeland Security specifically spoke about the danger of "lone wolf" right wing wacko types in their memo that the right panned. the FBI and police often have problems with this type of activity. the "lone wolf" strategy is something that is embraced and taught to followers of right wing hate groups, supremacist types, militias, etc. keep yourself low key, be quiet, don't make waves. the point is to strike when your time is right. by the shooters own words, he PLANNED this.

the other part of this ideology is that all it takes is a spark from someone in power to justify it in their minds the time to strike. the knoxville unitarian church shooter was a glenn beck fan. the man going to san francisco to kill people at the tides foundation was a glenn beck fan. many of the incidents in recent years haven't been mass coordinated efforts. they're not intended to be. they are all lone wolfs acting out. the only coordination effort is in getting many lone wolfs to strike. the coordination is getting these people to act as lone wolfs. but make no mistake about it, it is there. spend time researching right wing hate groups and militias, its not exactly hard to find or to see. timothy mcveigh was the prototypical lone wolf. even though there never was a PLANNED conspiracy to act, within the movement, the implications are always there. part of that is to be able to keep up an air of deniability and to insulate the movement as a whole. the tea parties reaction speaks volumes about this. they know this is their M.O. but immediately went into denial mode, immediately sought to deflect blame but not to condemn the actions nor to back off their rhetoric.

in recent interviews with rachel maddow, former right winger frank shaeffer has warned of this time of danger. more importantly, the ideology and delusions that the right produces could have severe impact on a person with impaired mental facilities. which, more and more, its appearing that the shooter had. combine the delusional lies and bigotry that fox news and the right wing in america spout out with a person who may already have dangerous mental health issues and you have a bomb waiting to go off.

jared loughner is a right wing nut case. he's connected to white supremacy, he's anti-semitic and has a problem with immigrants. he's obsessed with the gold standard and believes that the current government, the obama administration, is unconstitutional. all people like this need is a spark, a sign, from their movement leaders, to act. what could be such a spark?

maybe a woman running for congress saying that if they don't get their way, 2nd amendment remedies will be needed?

a former half term governor of alaska putting bulls eyes on people she doesn't like?

radio and television personalities having fantasies openly on tv and radio talking about killing people and how they're out to take away their rights and to get them?

the time for debating his connections is over. he's another lone wolf who has struck in a movement that prides itself on producing these lone wolfs

scott roeder

timothy mcveigh

richard poplawski

jim adkisson

byron williams

david stone

jerry and joe kane

time to add jared loughner to the growing list of right wing lone wolfs who, under the cover of fox news, the tea party, the far right, the john birch society, right wing hate groups, militias, and white power continue to murder americans with none on the right taking responsibility. and most importantly, none on the right calling for them to STOP.

how many more Americans have to be killed by the right wings movement of hate?
