Voter ID laws
As a way to deal with the spate of Voter ID Repression Laws, I think it would be a good idea to have a website for information about how to get the required IDs - sort of a national voter id clearinghouse - to help people find out how to deal with this and perhaps provide assistance in obtaining them.

(sorry, I know that is ill stated and not well thought out)

1. Or maybe links to where to find the info
For instance, Florida has pretty good explanations about how to get a state ID, which meet the photo ID requirement to actually vote. Registering to vote is now easier than actually voting!

4. Here in Wisconsin there's nothing we can do about voter ID for the time being,
so I believe that the Democratic Party should make it their mission to identify and help people who need IDs in any way--where they need to go to obtain the IDs and help in getting there if needed. This should be part of voter registration and we have over a year before the 2012 elections and many months before a recall election of Walker here in Wisconsin.
