In going against 14th amendment, GOP congress going against God and Country too! |
|
When these Republican congress liars swore their oath to the constitution, they apparently forgot to add that they would uphold the constitution, but only whenever it didn't break their first loyalty to the Grover pledge.
Oh, and don't forget what Jesus said in his Sermon on the Mount: don't make a pledge or oath unless you intend to keep it. Thus these Republican congress people are going against God, Country and the Constitution!

1. More and more these teajadists remind me of some of the addicts/alcoholics |
|
I have known deep in their addictions. Total lying sacks of feces. No honor. Complete hypocrites. Hateful and totally self-centered to the point where nothing else but them even exists in their consciousness.
I HATE dealing with active addicts. I HATE dealing with teabaggers. I see really the same mind games with both of them.
I do want to say, once addicts are in recovery, they are often the most wonderful people you could ever hope to meet. But anyone who wants to get on a soapbox to try to tell me that an actively drinking alcoholic or active addict is a real gem to live with, I have a middle finger to show you, LOL.
Just like actively using addicts create chaos and damage in the lives around them, so do R's/teajadists. They do the acting out, and we get the damage and the hurt and pain and pay the price forever.

2. After the Revolutionary War, the new government assumed the debt of the former colonies. |
|
Assumed the war debt, and paid it off -- thus demonstrating the good faith and creditworthiness of the new country established based on that war.
After the Civil War, among other things, the preserved country put into its constitution the requirement that its debts, including those incurred in the war to preserve the country (but specifically excluding the debts incurred by those seeking to destroy the unity of the country) were to be recognized, so paid off.
The history shows the clear intent of Section 4 of the 14th Amendment: to ensure the payment of this country's debts, including but not limited to those from what was then the recent civil war.
