it does pose a certain pressure on the respiratory system... and I am betting in his case, sleep apnea. It is common in the morbidly obese.

8. I've lived with 25yrs of a sister being morbidly obese..I've seen close up and personal

how her weight impacts all her underlying health conditions..that being one of them....we have been turned away from certain eating establishments because they simply had no seating that could fit her...she's finally getting the gastric bypass next month...

9. One thing I will give Huckabee credit for is losing weight

I can't comment on Christie's diet or exercise but at least he has the werewithal with probably a personal chef for the Gov & access to a gym, even the $$$'s to hire a personal trainer to eat healthy and get proper exercise.

If he ever runs for president or VP his weight and health IMHO would be a legit issue.

I hate the bastard but I hope he is ok.

While it is not known if this is an asthmatic attack at this point, a source close to the governor confirms Christie has suffered from asthma for years.

"He carries an inhaler with him," this source told NBC New York.

He also noted that the governor's weight doesn't help his health issues.
