Another Obama judicial nominee defeated, Stephen Six for Court of Appeals

This makes me so :banghead: Leahy won't pursue the nomination since Kansas' 2 backwards senators opposed Six....BTW, back when Bush was president, Hatch went forth with at least 2 nominations opposed by home states senators...He went forth with Henry Saad even though both Maryland senators opposed, and he went forth with Carolyn Kuhl who was opposed by both CA. senators....But both were filibustered on their final vote and thus were never seated...

The struggle continues with Obama's Court of Appeals nominees:

Goodwin Liu - filibustered

Stephen Six - withdrawn

Edward DuMont - still hasn't had SJC hearing

Victoria Nourse - being held up by asshole Ron Johnson (R-WI) for no valid reason...He's holding up Louis Butler to on the District Court level....BOTH Nourse and Butler were nominated when Feingold was senator....

Caitlin Halligan - cleared the SJC back in March and STILL hasn't had a final floor vote....
