The 6-month wonder speaks: Rep. Walsh says folks like McCain 'have no clue'
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/07/28/rep-walsh-says-folks-like-mccain-have-no-clue/#more-169152

"Folks like Sen. John McCain have been in this town for too long and they're the ones who have gotten us into this mess year after year after year," the Illinois congressman said Thursday on "CNN Newsroom." "Folks like him … have no clue as to the troubles Americans are going through right now. They don't understand this crisis anymore."

Walsh, who was elected in 2010 with tea party support, said he is more concerned with solving the debt crisis than he is with the August 2 deadline for raising the borrowing limit to avoid a potential default.

2. Speaks the man sued for not paying child support
I guess your first wife knows about the CRISIS YOU CAUSED. Will the media throw that in your face? I doubt it. It's Okay as long as a republican does it.

5. Posters here have said the same thing about McCain. But it is true that
McCain and several others in the House and Senate have been there entirely too long.

10. He needs to worry about paying his child support
and taking care of those children he brought into this world. Or does he expect his ex to suck the government teat while he fills his pockets with Koch brothers money?

Lots of excellent comments -- the critical far outweighing the supportive.

17. So, they want to ADD to the "debt problem" by
costing us billions (maybe even trillions) on added interest to the loans we already have? What kind of logic is that? It's like if one of us purposly chose to not pay our credit card because we had debt and didn't want to borrow to pay that debt...our interest rate would go up, we'd be charged late fees, our credit score would go down and we'd end up owing more than we did if we had just borrowed (at the lower rate)and paid the damn bill.

18. That's what I don't get...default will COST AMERICA A FORTUNE.
How is this helping? If you miss your credit card payment, your rate goes up to 29-32%. No different here, except we're talking BILLIONS and TRILLIONS of dollars. Tell me, oh lurking tea baggers, how does this HELP our financial situation? Are you just plain STUPID?
