If Reps get Senate and house Majority....especially if Obama loses in 2012 |
|
What is the likelyhood of the bill to voucher'ize medicare and medicaid will be reintroduced and passed?
Since the issue has been received by the population so negatively, would they dare to reintroduce the plan?

1. If that happens we are fucked plain and simple |
|
The constitution will be null and void and liberals will be rounded up and put into camps. I'm not joking either. This will be the Nazi States of America.

2. I don't see the Republicans getting both houses and the WH |
|
That is of course assuming we can keep them from manipulating election results. The key is for people to show up.

3. Pretty good I would imagine |
|
Unless the remaining Dems in the Senate throw up some filibusters to prevent such a plan for going through.
And, as far as the Republicans caring about what the rest of the population (or, as they often deride us as, a "focus group")...................
Hopefully, enough people would understand when they go to the polls next year what exactly they're going to get by (re-)establishing a Republican hegemony in Washington DC. The way I see it, it's either going to be a Democratic sweep or Republican sweep. I don't see too many people opting for more divided (i.e. dysfunctional) government after these two years.

9. If the Rs maintain the House and grab control of the Senate, the 60 vote filibuster will be removed. |
|
Ds were too cowardly to remove it this year but you can bet the Rs will not be so timid. They will never tolerate the same type of obstruction they have perpetrated.
