When Grampy is compelled to out his own party, you know we've gone round the bend.

1. Part of it, I think, is posturing for 2012. But part of it, I think, is real fear at how...
...fucking out of control everything has become. And that's not saying he's some old curmudgen who's had a change of heart, a la "A Christmas Carol". It's almost certainly out of his own self-interest. But if he wants to help join the fight against the TeaBaggers and the ReBaggers, I'm not going to stop him.

I might get on all fours behind him so when he starts to back away, he tumbles over me. But technically, that would be him assaulting me.

2. Meh, give it a week, Gramps' position needs time to evolve and twist back upon itself.

7. Don't expect it to last
Pretty obvious how far we have fallen, just hope it bottoms out before the country (or the world) is ruined beyond repair.

6. Absolutely right! Palin as his VP choice started the rise of the
tea party.

4. He can act sane now that he was reelected. He was pandering to the Tea Party lunatics while running.

5. He's not sane; the Chamber of Commerce is kicking Grandpa John in the nuts over and over,
and he's not wearing a cup.
