heres how Obama could dodge the debt ceiling.
he could order the treasury to issue 2 1 trillion dollar coins and sell them to the fed. with the 2T in new money he can than use that to pay bills. when the congress gets around to raising the ceiling thetreasury could buy the coins back and issue new debt to pay for them.
net result would be the same as raising the debt ceiling but there would be no default. Under the coinage act its perfectly legal

"The Secretary may mint and issue platinum bullion coins and proof platinum coins in accordance with such specifications, designs, varieties, quantities, denominations, and inscriptions as the Secretary, in the Secretary’s discretion, may prescribe from time to time."

Obama should do that and tell the GOP to go fuck themselves.
