It's amazing that an obviously broken House is holding the entire country hostage.... |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-28-11 05:18 PM by Joe the Revelator
...it's just a broken fucking system right now.
Fuck the tea party and fuck the republicans for allowing them to take over their caucus.
While we're at it fuck the media for playing into the tea party and triple fuck the Democratic party if we continue to allow this.
But thanks to the house Dems for holding the line....

I'm holed up in a hotel room with internet, beer, rum, and cable. Since football is a month away, this is the best spectator sport around

3. What has to be done to make the teafuckers an official party? |
|
Essentially giving the Dems the majority in the House?
I can't think of any other way out of this hostage situation.

I'm sorry (I've already been chastised) if this isn't good news, but I'm really enjoying this implosion. Schadenfreude may be a guilty pleasure, but it's a pleasure nonetheless.

the stupid teabagsters who rely on their monthly SS "entitlements" to survive and those who need Medicare assistance will fully deserve all the suffering "sacrifices" coming their way big fuging time...

19. A quick google search told me that there are 52 Tea Party caucus members. |
|
The Tea Party caucus is telling the Republicans what to do.
Another quick google search told me there are 81 Progressive caucus members.
I know that the Republicans are in charge of the house, but they weren't always. Why do I not remember hearing about how the Progressive caucus forced their ideas on the Democrats when the Democratic party was in charge of the house?
I think the Progressive caucus needs to rethink their position in the Democratic party.
