I once wrote an email to John Cornyn, "my" senator. I ended up on his email list, which raised my blood pressure on a daily basis. I'd love to write him again, to express my deep concerns regarding his party's obsessive desire to destroy the middle class, force seniors to work until they drop from exhaustion, and ignore American poverty because, let's face it, the slums of India are a hundred times worse than the slums of Detroit.

I'd love to write Cornyn again. I have a lot to say. But I just can't risk it.

High blood pressure is very expensive, and my health insurance policy has a $6,000 deductible.

I'm sending cosmic thought rays your way, John, in hopes that an epiphany will occur to you and "eureka!" you will realize that you are a complete bumblehead.

But I'm not holding my breath.

4. OH! Heavens no, don't hold your breath over Cornyn. He was "my"

Senator too for a half dozens years. I was on his e-mail list and that was an exercise, for me, in restraining pulling out my hair and poking both eyes out! Never got a 'real' answer/reply from him....always canned garbage...awful. He was Great though at staying on talking points.

5. I got an e-mail from my Rethug Congressman Bill Johnson

asking me to support him and Paul Ryan's plan to save Medicare. I e-mailed him back and called him every name I could think of. I get an e-mail back thanking me for my support of the Ryan Plan to save Medicare. So now he counts me as supporting Ryan's budget.
