Just a reminder - spending, cuts, and taxes are discussed in Budget Negotiations....

It has nothing to do with raising the Debt Ceiling...

Raise the debt ceiling then we can spend months and months on the budget.

But I think everyone in government wants to pass a bill under this duress.

Draconian Cuts, No taxes for the rich.

Middle class gets screwed. Politicians get fatter 'campaign donations".

Mission Accomplished...again...

1. NBC Nightly News tonight had the host saying 'Dems were holding out for the "poor"'
Edited on Thu Jul-28-11 08:35 PM by SnoopDog
Actually, everyone earning from 0 to $250k or so is affected.

Their nightly propaganda suggests that only the 'poor' are affected.

No, sorry, this effects 99% of all Americans....

5.  and they say that only "the left" care about medicare, SS, and medicaid.
When Ryan came out with that asinine plan to privatize medicare, a Republican told me he was going to vote for Democrats next time because, "Nobody messed with his medicare."

4. It really is 'Us' vs. 'Them'
They (them) have
1. all republicans
2. all tea baggers
3. far to many Dems
4. the nightly news and most all other news agencies
5. the airwaves
6. the wealthy

Us (we) are just the lowly 300,000,000 Americans.

It is a war, and unfortunately, they are winning the major battles.

We, the people, always do win. Unfortunately, many many will suffer and die until we do.
