there WILL be a vote tonight (after they drag Boehner back from the bar).

20. The only one I've found in 21 years here
is Slice of Olde Towne in Gaithersburg, which was opened last year by a guy from New Jersey.
If you know of others in Maryland, I would love to know about them.

MD. Thin crusts...yummy!!

Zpizza in Silver Spring is a chain of organic pizzas - they deliver - great pizza and salads!

You're welcome!

42. Not in MD but just over the border into DC...
Pete's which has three locations (Clarendon, Columbia Heights & Friendship Heights), is as good as any pizza I had growing up outside New Haven and as good or better than any of the pizza I had in NYC (Much of the NYC pizza is over-rated...a lot of it isn't any better than your average Adams Morgan jumbo slice or Elios anymore).

It's been sweeping the DC "Best Pizza" awards since they opened the CH location. I'd order takeout if you have a large group, it's open long-table seating and I can never get a seat at CH location any time from open to close. It's packed. If you wait long enough, they'll open one on the MD side...they've been in business for ~18 months and are up to 3 restaurants and all three are packed; I expect they'll keep growing. Also Joe Biden is a frequent customer at the FH restaurant and has been known to "hold court" with the patrons. (Hanging out in a public high-volume pizza shop where it's impossible to vet everybody; his Sec. Service detail must love that.)

Does it matter?

Focus on the GOP's utter stupidity and inability to govern, not what they eat.

29. LOL. Well, I started to say porridge but, gruel sounded more
Dickensonian.

I wonder if you could make "flemmery" by leaving some watery oatmeal out on the counter for two days...

All those politicians should try it.

So hopefully the pizza was from a cheap, crappy chain operation.

Lock them up in the Capitol and not let them out until they have raised the debt ceiling with a clean bill.

No luxuries either. Mediocre food, water and bathroom facilities ought to be enough. Oh and a doctor on call in case things get a little too heated in there. :-)

Shitty pizza is a pretty common working meal across America. When the boss says nobody leaves, you can bet you're about to get some pizza.

As alleged, Tombstone pizza was chosen. It is speculated that this was to pave the way for their political demise, or worse - the economy's demise.
