The U.S. Treasury will give priority to making interest payments to holders of government bonds when due if lawmakers fail to reach an agreement to raise the debt ceiling, according to an administration official.

nice knowing you, USA. You weren't the world's worst republic turned empire, but you're now the most recent ex-world power and former sovereign state.

3. "...give priority to making interest payments to holders of government bonds..."
....then our government is not ours and it must be replaced....the American peoples' priorities must come first, not some German bond holders....

....one thing Americans from the Left to the Right will agree upon, America and Americans come first!....any weasel politician backing money over the American people, will find themselves unemployed or worse....

4. Obama's hands are tied by the 14th ammendment
It would be unconstitutional to not pay the public debt.

Other payments are not constitutionally required.
