"I was asking questions, 'Why suddenly this gate was closed?' and 'Why cannot I go through the metal detector?'" Miyamae said. "That became debate and argument. I can't remember all the details. My peripheral vision was shrinking. I see all these people surrounding me, including police officers with guns, all these people look taller than me."
Miyamae says a TSA woman approached her and showed her what the pat down would be like. Miyamae says she did not want to be inspected like that.
"I felt the fear," Miyamae said. "I felt fear of being molested by these people."

Miyamae says she was abducted at age 7 for several hours while she was living in Japan. During this demonstration, Miyamae pushed the woman away and touched her - not even realizing where. She ended up grabbing the agent's breast.

"I didn't mean to do any harm," Miyamae said. "I didn't have any intention other than keeping this person away from my space."

"Ms. Miyamae says she told TSA agents she wanted to be screened by the metal detector gate. She did so out of concern for excessive radiation exposure from the full-body scanners, as she is a frequent business traveler. Her request was denied. She was soon surrounded by TSA agents. One TSA agent, a tall woman, approached Ms. Miyamae, who is only five feet tall. Ms. Miyamae felt panicked and experienced a volatile aversion to the TSA personnel violating her personal physical space. She felt endangered and threatened based upon prior traumatizing security pat-downs, repugnance at the prospect of being touched again in such a violent and undignified manner, and instinctively pushed the female TSA agent away. Ms. Miyamae remains traumatized by this incident and her subsequent arrest, jailing, and the false accusation of being a sex criminal."
