The GDP numbers are awful. There is no way they should deal with the deficit until jobs and the
economy starts to grow.

The Senate should just send a bill to increase the debt limit. Nothing more.

If the idiots in the House do not pass it, then Obama should exercise the 14th amendment

1. Economics has nothing to do with this.
It is opportunism for the ruling class.

3. But in order for the ruling class to get their way,
they need people like the teabaggers to remain ignorant of basic economics.

2. That would require a basic understanding of economics.
Teabaggers are economic morons. Many believe cutting government spending will CREATE jobs.

You have to wonder how these idiots manage to cross the street without being hit by a car.

No one's immune to conventional wisdom -- not even guys with their faces on coins.

5. Two Worlds...
The other day I got to listen into a conference call from a financial planner and the questions were about how to take advantage of this current fiasco and how to cash in if the government defaults. There's a lot of money that has been made over the past couple years that could earn a lot more in short term high interest bonds...all that's needed is a government default and the money will start compounding.

For those who borrow a default will be disaster but for those with money to wheel and deal, these are times rife with opportunity...and this is who the teabaggers are willing to go off the cliff for. The working class is just a bystander in this soap opera...

10. Have you guys found an article that mentions which members of congress...
would stand to gain financially because they specifically bet against the US, besides Cantor?

Thanks. :)

11. Fuck that.
They should be shot as a traitor. That is what one does with traitors by law. Death by firing squad. I would support that, live on TV and don't even offer the bastards a blindfold. Make em watch as they get lined up one by one by one and filled with lead.

Shit - I am in a foul mood today, aren't I?
