Joe Walsh provides nation with explanation of tea party values |
|
They are all DEADBEATS. Thinking that not paying debts you have incurred is somehow honorable is what they are all about.

1. Thank the Chamber of Commerce for the Tea Party. These |
|
are their candidates. COC spent millions in 2010 going after Democrats and fielding their own Pro Business Candidates.
It appears qualifications and understanding the office for which they were running did not matter much---

2. Well, it is pretty much what got the nation started |
|
After all, we blanched at paying for The Seven Years War.
Being deadbeats is in our DNA as a nation.

4. Most Americans are aware that it was not simply taxation |
|
but taxation without representation that bothered the founders. Not taxation, but abusive and manipulative burdens applied by distant decree. They did not seek to pay no taxes, that is simply not the case.

3. Tea Party? You mean the Republicans? |
|
No such thing as the Tea Party. Joe Walsh is a plain old garden variety Republican.

6. He's An Opportunist... |
|
We'll see next year when he gets primaried by another incumbent rushpublican how "garden variety" he is.
I live in this shithole's district and he won by a whopping 491 votes to a Blue Dog Democrat who had pissed off too many Democrats and moderate rushpublicans. Sadly a lot of this slimeball's background never made the media and he was able to slide through. The redistricting moved the 8th 10 miles south of his residence and puts him into a fight next year if he chooses to try to run for the seat in where he resides. A lot of us are grateful to be rid of this deadbeat douchenozzle and look forward to his political flame out in the weeks ahead.

5. My friend is a veteran conservative republican. Nothing fancy, just conventional republican. |
|
And she was appalled when a mutual friend declared bankruptcy. Thought it was irresponsible, that a payment plan should have been established, don't-walk-away-from-your-obligations, etc.
While that seems a bit tight-assed, it does have a certain virtue as to you don't borrow and then not pay back what you've borrowed.
