Kid (and Play) should be banned from restaurants
I was in a restaurant having a nice quiet Kid free meal and then
these two guys walk in with Bride of Frankenstein meets
Marge Simpson hair. Next thing I know there is a:

going on!?

Ban them.

1. i was once in a small german restaurant,
in the united states, where there were two young children who were out of their seats and giggling and playing.
my wife and i were the only customers besides the family with the children.
the proprietress was clearly annoyed with the children's behavior and hinted to the parents that the kids were too active.
the parents did not respond quickly to the hints and so the restaurant owner asked them to leave.
both my wife and i were caught off guard by this scenario.
were the kids disruptive? yes. did they bother my wife and i? no.
three months later the restaurant was out of business.
i don't know if the closure was related to the incident with the silly kids but i always wondered.

2. I say restaurants should ban goats, no matter how old they are!1!!
No discrimination--ban the kids and ban the old goats like John McCain! If I can't play on his lawn, the hell with him!

3. Give people a choice: kid section, or kid-free section.
Oh wait, that's the same as giving people a choice: kid restaurant or kid-free restaurant.

I think people should have a choice. Just as some upscale restaurants enforce a dress code, they should have the right to enforce a behavior code.
