How the Right Will Twist and Exploit the Giffords Shooting

We already have email calls from the Tea Party to twist the event and call it the work of a "liberal lunatic" to deflect the criticism off of incendiary remarks like Palin's "Crosshair" Facebook post. Next, you can expect to hear how the RIGHT is the real victim, they have been threatened as much as the left.

And finally, they will blame the event on too-strict gun control (if everyone carried a gun the shooter would have been killed) and demand greater security on Congress.

So the end result is, the spewers of right-wing hate will get government paid-for security details to protect them as they ratchet up the violence.
