Poll question: Would you swim in this stuff?




Once regarded as the best beach city in China, Qingdao is dealing with its seasonal headache once again this month: raking up an enormous carpet of florescent green algae from the Yellow Sea (黄海).

This is the fifth year in a row that the Shandong Province city has suffered an algae attack.

8. From what I've read it's not dangerous to humans
Not to good for some of the local marine life, but safe for humans.

9. Nope. I get freaked out when swimming where things float up and touch me.
Fish are different. They swim up and usually nibble, floating moss freaks me the heck out though. :scared:
