Even though be didn't end either the wars or tax cuts, I don't believe he would've started those wars or introduced the tax cuts. He just didn't have the balls to do the right thing.

while ramping up the other two.

He also signed onto tax cuts for the rich.

9. The "Democrats" have been complicit every step of the way since Day 1:
They cannot be absolved of their part in crashing the economy. They know what they are doing. That's "bi-partisanship" you can believe in. Drowning America in a bathtub.

43. I hope people wake up and realize this
The demonizing of Republicans - as if Democrats weren't there going along with them or in some ways were tied up and held at gun-point - is astounding.....From enabling Bush to with few exceptions failing to stand-up to Obama, they are part and parcel to this mess.

10. Don't forget he hid the costs of those wars...
and Obama didn't - and that is why the deficit is as bad as it is under his watch. I also wish that there would be more reminders out there of just exactly who it was who got us in this mess. Perhaps it's because we're being played by both the media and Congress. There's no way these greedy pigs and their corporate sponsors are going to allow a default.

Don't you guys realize the top 2% is 18% of the future projections on what the Bush cuts represent?

We never had the ability to let go of all that revenue.

George Bush just doesn't get any credit though. I think it's hilarious that we cling to his tax cuts while cursing him.

and Obama Tax Cuts (he chose not to let them expire)....and every day this is becoming truer.

All you have to do is look at who the public blames ....still Bush and the Wall Street
fatcats ...but Obama will certainly rise to overtake them before the election UNFORTUNATELY

How this complete incompetent could be president is beyond comprehension. The Republican party should be ashamed of itself for inflicting this nation with this idiot. Economic recovery is a problem that Oboma inherited, and the GOOP is still placing obstacles, to slow down his efforts.

I mean. The truth is so blatant and so obvious that you are right, that we are in this mess because of stupid republicans - both elected officials and the idiots that vote for them.

So why would a Democratic congressperson or president not shout this every time the republicans open their yaps? Why would a Democratic president bend over and kiss republican butt by suggesting that the problem will be fixed if we can just cut that pesky SS and Medicare? No kind of Democrat I know would be that stupid.
