It amazes me that no one has discussed the corporate media's "Come Lately" attitude ... |

... in this entire debt ceiling fiasco. This entire week, we've seen collossal unraveling, bickering and infighting of the Tea Party and a Speaker that can't even get his Republican legislation passed through a Republican-controlled House.
Now, all of a sudden, Allen West is calling the Tea Party schizophrenic.
MSNBC has trotted out Reagan's former policy advisor on the debt ceiling.
Bill O'Reilly has even called these folks nuts and extreme. Bill O?
... and now even Wall Street is clamoring trying to figure out where the crazy that it helped fund is going to take this nation.
MSNBCNN, next time (if there's a next time), don't give Rick Santelli, Dick Armey, and Sarah Palin such a huge microphone and you won't have these nuts in charge of the asylum.

2. It is a farce opera. That is what we |
|
have been entertained by for years and years. The only thing different is the cast.

... if this is a staged show.
I honestly believe that our corporate-owned media was expecting a debt ceiling bill with CCB and drastic cuts to Medicare, SS, and Medicaid to whisk through the House and Senate and be signed into law without much ado...
... that is, until the Tea Party Caucus became nuttier and nuttier.
As usual, they expected this president and the Senate leadership to cave, but citizens are flooding the Congressional switchboard. Who stands to lose more from this if we default? Those who have millions and billions in wealth or those who don't?
This thing is serious, and Wall Street isn't happy.

8. I think it's being lazy plain and simple... |
|
They think they are committing journalism but it is just reporting of the most basic kind.
It's easier.
