This is just another republican power grab, pushing their agenda against the middle class and
regulations on corporations. They want to cut the EPA, and corporations certainly aren't going to care about clean air or water on their own. They'd continue hacking away at the middle class as they've been doing since Reagan. If the default occurs, the middle class are said to be those who will suffer from the new interest rates.

They've created a power grab opportunity by destablizing the economy, then saying that they are the only ones who can fix it. They caused it. Their "fixes" are just the same old agenda pushed with a new name, in a time of manufactured crisis.

Disaster capitalism.

Sorry if I'm harping on this too much, it just grates so very very much.
