If only we could be like them... you know... look at them... set aside the natural animosity you feel when you see them... set aside the frustation you feel... and just look at them as an animal... no, as an organism. See how they stick together, how they speak with one tongue, even though thier ideas are pattenly foolish, even though they exhibit only a rudimentary understanding of the situation and that thier "simple" and anti-nuanced solution to such a complex issue would lead us all into ruin... try and see how they move, how they fight just for the sake of fighting, how they blindly swing out in frustration, blindly mimicking they know not who... it's an amazing spectacle this collective stupidity, this wreckless and childish notion of "if I you don't let me drive, I'm going to crash the car" mentality. Never mind the wreckage of the past that lays littered like the sand at the feet of the great king Ozymandius... "never mind the past", "never mind the facts"... "we're right"... "this bullshit scheme has to work eventually"...
If only we could do that... if we could stand together as one voice... but a voice of reason and understanding, a voice that is humbled by sacrifice and inspired by wisdom... Man oh man, if we could be like them in just that one way... would we have went to war? would we have allowed them to lie? would we have let them sink thier fangs into the heart of this country and bleed it and bleed it? would we still allow them to feast till this day? would we? could we... if only.

1. Yep, they're just like petulant children throwing a hissy fit. Sorry, |
|
but I can't bring myself to want to be like them ever.
