"It’s amazing Cantor is even in Congress. He seems better suited for organized crime."
As a Potential Default Approaches, Eric Cantor Is Starting to Crack
By Steve Benen | Sourced from Washington Monthly
Posted at July 29, 2011, 4:46 pm

...So, let’s summarize Cantor’s position here. The House is poised to vote on Speaker Boehner’s budget proposal this afternoon, and the outcome is still in doubt. According to Boehner, his far-right plan is worthwhile precisely because Democratic leaders “hate” it, and it isn’t the result of a bipartisan compromise or negotiations.

When the dust settles after the vote, if it manages to get a majority, the Boehner plan will have passed despite bipartisan opposition.

Eric Cantor believes that the Senate, whose members have already announced it can’t accept this right-wing plan, must approve the House bill and that President Obama must sign it into law, or House Republicans will deliberately crash the economy by refusing to pass anything else.

This is nothing short of crazy. “Do what we demand or we’ll shoot the hostage and blame you.”

It’s amazing Cantor is even in Congress. He seems better suited for organized crime...

His ma$$ively bailed-out parasites must be frothing at the mouth.

Imagine all the 'neo' killing they are about to stash up starting tuesday morning.

Unless the executive stops them... with the 14th chess move...

5. Nah, he looks too much like a snitch.
First time someone said "I don't like it ... something smells fishy", Cantor would break out in a sweat even if he hadn't done anything (unlikely, I know) and it would be cement booties for him.

8. I DISAGREE there are real loyal americans in CONGRESS!
The MD representatives make us all proud. They do their job and they fight for the middle class. Unfortunately, like many others they underestimated the evolution of the TPARTY NATION which would infiltrate the Congress and begin the destruction of democracy as designed by ALEC and transnational corporations. SCOTUS gave the corporations personhood, and the freedom to spend as much money as they could muster to obtain their corporate and political goals. ALEC has been drafting extreme cookie cutter legislation for years and is coming into power across the country. The states under republican governorships have been given dictatorial powers by their legislatures. And the voices of workers who built this nation and comprised the middle class is being suppressed so that they are too weak to fight back. Obama and the dems just never saw it coming. Reagan started the sabotage of the constitution with his trickle down and Cheney led the BUSH administration into the final chapter of treason and moral decay. We invaded Iraq for oil, not al qaeda, we went into Afghanistan to get Osama bin Laden, but the Bushies dismantled the team that was assigned to hunt him down. The BUSH/CHENEY admin infiltrated govt agencies with political hacks to weaken and interfere with drafting of regulations and enforcement. As such of course The Bureau of Mine safety as well as the oversight body of big oil was a laughing stock and whore heaven, and of course the ultimate example of incompetence came with New Orleans and BROWNIE's directions for FEMA. We must not let this TPARTY NATION become our nation. They are ruthless, soulless and unable to govern. They know how to dictate and rule, they do not know how to govern especially in a democracy. BERNIE SANDERS is a good guy too.
Contribute to ONEWISCONSIN, they are trying to fight back and perhaps the recalls will be the signal that we are able to take our country back one state at a time.

10. Someone posted a high school pic of that spoiled brat earlier here. Reminded me of Count Chocola...
Edited on Sat Jul-30-11 06:32 AM by cascadiance
who I also knew in high school as a next door neighbor that I actually knew he and his family more than I cared for and who now is the president of Club for Growth after getting voted out as South Bend's congressman in 2006.

Both of those bums have that same smug smarmy look to them when they were younger, and bug the hell out of me when I think about that sort of mind set controlling our country now.

This could have been a pic of him in high school with a nerdy set of thick lens glasses.

Now Chocola has lost the glasses and Cantor has gained them since he was in high school

11. Doesn't anybody have any dirt on this jerk?
Seriously, he looks and acts like the guy in school everybody loved to hate, and I can't imagine he doesn't have enemies who'd be more than happy to spill their guts.
