OK, it is time to pass a clean raising the debt ceiling bill
You all had a chance (many chances) to pass a bill that puts budget issues into the debt ceiling bill and you failed. This is suppose to be a democracy and it is time to move on. A budget bill has not been passed in years so clearly you can take up your spending cuts ideas to balancing the budget there but the nation needs the debt ceiling raised so just f'ing do it. It was the unfunded spending of the last three republicon Presidents that put us in this situation. How could we have a decade of war without a plan to pay for it?

2. If Mitch McConnell is serious about what he said, he's going to filibuster any sane bill.
No doubt, he'll want his pound of flesh out of the negotiations, and his asking price could be more than we could bear.
