Teabaggers in Washington should not enjoy health care, staffs, or any other benefit
They want to preach austerity, take everything away from these fucks and let them survive in Washington without the perks. Take EVERYTHING away. They hate government, let them see what it's like without the benefits. Let them survive in a tiny office wth a phone and a computer and do the work themselves.

$174,000 is their salary. AND they get a COLA (Cost of Living Allowance) annually. They get the BEST health insurance, vision and dental coverage, life insurance, and retirement plans money can buy. Their constituents get shit. They get budgets to pay for their staff and office expenses, running into the millions of dollars a year. And they can hire relatives and friends. It's staggering what they get. Not one of them is going to tell me they can live without the perks and benefits, because they are there for them NOT to help us the people of the United States.

They are scum.

1. Totally totally totally agree. I'm thinking if we DO default,
their mortgages, car loans and credit cards would be affected, too, which would snap them into shape pretty fast. Maybe.

4. First term representative Andy Harris' ears should be burning
Because you're talking about him. He was the chap who arrived at the new representative orientation session, and fretted that his health insurance benefits weren't going to go into effect for 30 days. It was a hardship for poor Mr. Harris, it was! And how was he going to manage? Where was he to go? What was he to do?

You should contact Rep. Harris with some suggestions about how he personally could cut government spending, super patriot that he no doubt is.

6. I called, his lackey says without a balanced budget amendment, he will not help America
and he claims Harris has PRIVATE health care yet offered no proof.

Call his Washington office, he has a lackey on duty now.

8. That would be my FIRST priority in congress.....
if I was ever elected was to make all of the salaries completely insignificant and see if people's priorities change.
