I don't remember the teabaggers running on
balanced budget/deficit reduction in 2010. What I remember was jobs. Jobs, jobs, jobs. Every time I hear one of them say they are only doing what the voters elected them to do, it makes me furious. Am I wrong?

1. I think they also ran on drowing the government which is exactly
what they're doing.

3. It's already on tape
Since he is held in such high regard, :eyes: maybe the media could run that clip to introduce every piece on the debt negotiations.

6. That was true only while Bush/Cheney was in office.
Deficits and debt ceilings are only important when Democrats are in the WH. I never once heard any complaints about the fiscal trainwreck that Republicans were doing when they had total control of the government. Funny how the jobs mantra in 2010 has generated "0" legislation from the Republican controlled House. If I were a cynic, I'd say the only principle that Republicans believe is whatever it takes to maintain control of the government.

5. They didn't. It was jobs and claiming President Obama was a Muslim.
