In Boner's failed bill, he put in a "Balanced Budget Amendment".

Now, you and I know that amendment is Horrid ... along with having to do this whole debate again next year,

BUT this is where they win the message wars.

The repuke talking heads have gone on the news shows saying that the Democrats do not want a balanced budget because they don't like this amendment. They are so good at this. No child left behind is another prime example.
People like us know the truth, but many, many Americans are not engaged as we are. They see that the Dems voted against the balanced budget amendment, and then see assholes like Jon Kyl on their tv saying that Dems are against a balanced budget - and they believe it.

When are the Dems going to learn? Why wasn't there something in Reid's bill called Saving the Working Class amendment or something along those lines, so Democrats could go on the cable news shows and say look at what Republicans are voting against.


C'Mon Dems - you can do it. Learn to control the message! Don't Think of an Elephant is a quick, easy read.
